OBJECTIVES OF THE EXPEDITION
  • Involving residents of cities (settlements), urban assets in resolving issues of development of local areas and public spaces;
  • Involving experts and young architects, urbanists to participate in the transformation of public spaces;
  • Search and popularization of effective architectural solutions, current directions of development and qualitative transformation of the city environment;
  • Development of design solutions for the formation of public spaces in the city and proposals for their improvement;
  • Popularization of the national project “Infrastructure for Life” and the federal project “Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment”
ARCHITECTURE
Modern Vladikavkaz is an urban center with a rich history and characteristic buildings, where various architectural traditions and eras intersect.
JOURNEY
The picturesque Tseyskoe gorge. Here, surrounded by harsh and inspiring nature and crystal clear air, ideal conditions for creativity and relaxation are created.
HISTORY OF ARCHITECTURE
As part of the expedition, participants will visit a number of mountain settlements of the Alagir and Kurtatin gorges - Mizur, Nuzal, Buron, Sadon and Galon.
EMOTIONS
The Karmadon Gorge is a place associated with the tragic events of the collapse of the Kolka glacier in 2002, where the film crew of Sergei Bodrov Jr. died.
STORY
“City of the Dead” (also Dargavsky crypt burial ground) is a complex of above-ground and semi-underground crypt structures of the 14th-18th centuries near the village of Dargavs in North Ossetia.

ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation for participants in the Tsey mountaineering camp, located in the picturesque Tseysky gorge, among majestic mountains, glaciers and crystal clear air. Here, surrounded by harsh and inspiring nature, ideal conditions for creativity and relaxation are created.
EXCURSION PROGRAM
As part of the expedition, participants will visit key sites in the region:
  • Vladikavkaz
  • Dargavsky necropolis “City of the Dead”
  • Tseyskoye Gorge
  • The Karmadon Gorge is a place associated with the tragic events of the collapse of the Kolka glacier in 2002, where the film crew of Sergei Bodrov Jr. died
  • A number of mountain settlements of the Alagir and Kurtatin gorges - Mizur, Nuzal, Buron, Sadon and Galon, where architectural evidence of the industrial past of the region has been preserved.
